CLEAN TANKERS

Still on the upswing, the Clean Tanker Index closed a modest rise for Week 47, closing at 602.

Having found our previously mentioned "attraction" zone around 575 - 600, it remains to be seen if this push goes higher. The MACD is just in the process of...

The Baltic Exchange's plans to reshuffle the Baltic Dry Index will be holding our interest in the next while. Not only is there the possibility of a BDI-based ETF (now there's something to keep an eye on) but also the new index will be missing the Handysize time chart...

CLEAN TANKERS

For Week 46, the Clean Tanker Index displayed the same magnetism for the 500 - 600 area that we've seen for the past eight months or so. Of course, we can pin the recent Clean Tanker charts to the 2017 hurricane season maps with reasonable accuracy and tr...

HANDYSIZE

The witch of November mentioned in our last post seems to have nipped the Handysize Index in the tail for Week 44. Showing a dark down-candle, the handies bear watching to see if our possible 550 - 600 support zone has some effect.

This not-fully-formed "eveni...
